Christmas 2011....

Our Christmas was great...we really planned things out well. I love when things work out....
This is what the boys woke up to....
My mom, sister and I all had on matching pajamas, all the way down to our plaid pants. Super cute....if it's going to be three gals together all day, then we might as well be matching right?
 Carter was so excited....
This is the view that my mom was way excited for this year.....she kept telling me how she's never looked forward to Christmas as much!

My sister got Brax a vacuum because this kid can't get enough of cleaning. And I'm not kidding, he's used it everyday!
My dad got the boys this super cool fire truck.....
Carter and Brax got this cool playhouse that they can color...and Carter had the brilliant idea to put it right by the slide and they can slide home....super cute!
Even though this was the first Christmas that I haven't been with them all day, (and I'm not going to lie, I shed a ton of tears when they left) it was still a great day. We played, hung out, saw my whole family and enjoyed each other.

Work, Work, Work.....

December is a milestone month for me....it marks an entire year of my full-time career with FatCats, Pizza Factory and Costa Vida. So many things have changed since I've become the Events Manager, I've learned so much and gained some amazing experience to add to my resume.
In October I did a trunk or treat for Riverdale City and represented all of our companies there. One of the huge perks of knowing as many people as I do, is getting the Costa car for the day. The President for Costa Vida happens to be my "work dad" and he let me get some great exposure for Costa by switching me cars for the day.
I'm not going to lie....this mini cruises! BMW really knows a thing or two about cars. I loved every minute of driving a mini, but the best part was the boys' faces when they walked outside to go to school and saw it in the driveway. Priceless....and I'm pretty sure the Costa car never had that much backseat action!
I've also been helping welcome the Hilton Garden Inn going in next door at the Junction. They were so kind and let a few of us girls have a hard hat tour of the grounds while they're under construction.
It's been busy, hectic, and there have been nothing but long days lately. But I'm grateful for what I have and that I'm able to support my boys. Leaving from work one night, this is what I saw parked next to me....
You have to admit...that's hilarious! A couple more weeks and I'm totally going to do this too!

Celtic Thunder....

For my mom's birthday, Julia and I bought tickets to see Celtic Thunder. This band is an Irish group of guys that sing celtic-type songs. I have to be honest, I wasn't looking forward to it, but we'll do anything for our mom.
Here's the three of us getting ready for a night on the town....
My sis and I...pretty sure this girl is my best friend!
The backdrop was pretty cool. I have to admit, this was a much better concert than I thought it was going to be.

Moments in Life....

There have been so many changes in our lives over the last 6 months. It's very easy to get caught up in the everyday hustle and bustle, and forget about the little things in life. Steph has always been a great way for me to stop and take time out of our lives to enjoy the little moments in life. Her website www.patchworkphoto.com shows you more of her talent...but here's her handy work with me and my little dudes.
Absolutely adore this one....it's my screensaver on my laptop.
This one seriously brings a tear to my eyes, my little guys are growing up and getting so big.

Carter is such a little man lately. He talks like he's way mature and acts like he's super big.
Braxton is such a stud. This kid always keeps me laughing.

This is a really good one because it shows just how skinny this kid really is...it's like I don't feed him or something!

Brothers....

I couldn't have asked for better pictures of me and my boys Steph! Thank you so much.
