Our Private Fire Station Tour.....

The boys and I got invited to tour the Riverdale Fire Department last week. Schedule-wise it fit so well to head that way after church...so my sister, my mom and Jay all tagged along. (Pretty sure they were all just as excited as the boys)
Carter and Brax had a blast! The Riverdale station had so many cool trucks...and we got to see each one! Here's both boys chillin the ladder truck....(Brax is trying to close the door in this pic....gotta love that kid)
Zac was so nice to even let the boys "shoot water" from the truck. Seriously...these boys are spoiled. Brax thought he was pretty cool...
Carter thought it was awesome! We only let them do it for a minute though because it was snowing. (Gotta love winter right?) This was probably the highlight for Carter though....
Carter even got to drive....and Zac even turned on the lights for him! You can't really tell, but Carter has on his "flame" shoes (their super cute fire-ish shoes and he was so excited to wear them to church so after he could have them on at the station)
This is one of my favorite pics of Brax because it shows just how cool he really thinks he is....
The boys even got their very own fire hats....

It's a little dark, but this is me and my two favorite boyfriends!
Carter dressed up in all the gear...it was so heavy this kid couldn't move. :)
Thanks for such a great time! The boys are still talking about it. Braxton holds up his hand (like saying stop) and says, "Fight Fires...Zac" Super adorable.

Disneyland.....

Disneyland....seriously is amazing! We had a 3 day park hopper pass and still didn't even see half of the things there was!
The boys were so excited....Braxton kept saying Mickey and carter couldn't run faster! Good think Aunt Ju Ju was there with her excitement as well....
The boys met Gapetto and were super excited...
Ju Ju couldn't contain herself when we saw goofy, the boys were equally as excited...
We were in perfect time to see a cool song and dance show from Mickey and Minnie. The boys were mesmerized the whole time.
My mom, sister and I had a blast! Seriously, I couldn't have picked two better people to spend my vacation time with.
My sweet Carter. Now a big five year old, and seriously my best little buddy. Braxton is still young, but Carter is at such an amazing and special age, I love every minute of being his mom!
These cute boys played while in line everywhere we went.
This was my sister's fav ride, and my mom and I made her go with the two boys.....super fun!
This is all of our feet in the exact center of Disneyland...what a fun little piece of information...thanks sista!
Thank you so much mom and Julia for making this trip memorable....
The Toy Story ride was super cool....I would recommend it for everyone...even adults!
The time spent just walking around and exploring with the boys was priceless....
Though you can't see Brax well, this was such a fun prop...

Our hotel was across the street and looked like a castle.

Carter was amazed at our towel folded into a swan....
Precious moments like these make my life worth living....
I loved every minute of our trip, Carter and Brax are still talking about the trip and my mom and sister became my best friends more. Spending 24/7 with all five of us for 7 straight days really made us a close family. (As dysfunctional as that is)

Vegas Baby.....

Vegas was so much fun! We stayed at the Stratosphere, which I have to admit is the best hotel for kids. We were close to the strip, but far enough away to be "wholesome." And there was so much to do at the hotel alone, we were all entertained without even leaving.
We ate dinner at an adorable 60's diner, Roxy's. Braxton loved the food...can you tell?
Our hotel bathtub was seriously so big! Julia and I jumped in our swimsuits and took a bath with the boys....it was seriously a blast! There were so many bubbles, I almost lost Brax!
When we parked we were on the 4th level, but we went up to five just to have this picture taken so that Carter could stand next to the big number 5!
At dinner, the singer actually brought Carter in the center of the restaurant and had everyone sing him Happy Birthday! So stinkin' cute.
I actually ordered a hot dog because I really wasn't super hungry....well this was the biggest hot dog I'd ever seen!
Checking out the top of the Stratosphere was really cool!
Such a gorgeous view....
Our hotel room was seriously amazing! It was a suite and man, I can't wait to go back!
The bathroom was amazing! Seriously a shower that can fit 4 people?
The tub was super fun and such an amazing layout for a hotel room....I'm so going back there one day!
This was on our way out....goodbye Stratosphere...thanks for an amazing time!

Road Trip...

Off to California we went....my mom, sister and I packed the old 4Runner full of snacks, games, clothes and of course the two boys.
I took the first shift driving while Julia rode in front with me...
My mom read her magazines, played with the boys and made fun of my driving skills the whole time. Check out Carter's pose for the camera....so funny.
This is actually my mom driving the fast...we made record time! Thanks Mom for getting us to Vegas in amazing time!
This was a super close shot...but sweet Brax is getting so big!
Carter and JuJu having fun in the back seat watching Cars....Brax was so good in the car as long as that movie was on. So we watched it like 5 times. So funny!
Overall, this was the BEST roadtrip I've ever been on! My mom, sister and I make a great team while the boys did so well it was amazing!
