Grateful...

I am truly grateful for these two studs!

If it weren't for these little guys....my life would be nothing. I love being their mom. My days are long, my responsibilities are endless, my patience is lacking, my energy is dwindling daily....but these two little boys keep me going! Thank you Carter and Braxton, you mean the absolute WORLD to your mom.

Weber State Birthday Party...

Awhile back Carter got invited to his friend Clara's birthday party. (I've been slacking on my postings lately)
I have to say, this party was one of the best ones I've been to. (This is coming from the crazy event planner even!)
The idea was to have the kids come and watch a basketball game at Weber State. It was a unique idea and I had to check it out....not to mention Clara is one of Carter's "girlfriends" so of course we had to be there. The kids all sat together and cheered for Weber.
Clara's mom made sure the kids had pom poms and purple foam fingers to cheer in the crowd. Then Clara passed out paper sacks she drew on that were filled with the snacks. (Super cute idea)
And instead of cake, there were cake pops! Uber brilliant at a little kids party in the stands!
The Weber State mascot came over to see us! Super fun! It was a great party!

Turning 27

I celebrated my 27th birthday last weekend. I am truly so grateful for my family and support that they show me. The whole gang was able to come out to Lagoon and party it up!
(I have to admit, I absolutely LOVE getting older!)

Me and my little men....
The boys waiting for a ride....
The girls....pretty sure I'd be lost without these two.
I don't remember the last time I was at Lagoon with my dad....it was really fun seeing the boys enjoy all the rides and go with each of us.
My little dude....poor kid we really tired him out!
This is Carter after the water ride.....he was sunbathing to get warm and dry off!
We had such a fun trip to the amusement park! Plenty of snacks, drinks and rides to last a little while.

We all came back to my mom's for cake and ice cream. My mom really out-did herself this year with my cake. (It's been a tradition that she makes the cakes and they are always amazing) The pink frosting was even flavored.
I was also surprised at work the next day with the most gorgeous flowers ever! One of my favorite people in this world made sure I would have some more celebrating even after my birthday.
Goodbye 26.....Bring it on 27!
