Vegas Baby.....

Vegas was so much fun! We stayed at the Stratosphere, which I have to admit is the best hotel for kids. We were close to the strip, but far enough away to be "wholesome." And there was so much to do at the hotel alone, we were all entertained without even leaving.

We ate dinner at an adorable 60's diner, Roxy's. Braxton loved the food...can you tell?

Our hotel bathtub was seriously so big! Julia and I jumped in our swimsuits and took a bath with the boys....it was seriously a blast! There were so many bubbles, I almost lost Brax!

When we parked we were on the 4th level, but we went up to five just to have this picture taken so that Carter could stand next to the big number 5!

At dinner, the singer actually brought Carter in the center of the restaurant and had everyone sing him Happy Birthday! So stinkin' cute.

I actually ordered a hot dog because I really wasn't super hungry....well this was the biggest hot dog I'd ever seen!

Checking out the top of the Stratosphere was really cool!

Our hotel room was seriously amazing! It was a suite and man, I can't wait to go back!

The bathroom was amazing! Seriously a shower that can fit 4 people?

The tub was super fun and such an amazing layout for a hotel room....I'm so going back there one day!

Road Trip...

Off to California we went....my mom, sister and I packed the old 4Runner full of snacks, games, clothes and of course the two boys.

I took the first shift driving while Julia rode in front with me...

My mom read her magazines, played with the boys and made fun of my driving skills the whole time. Check out Carter's pose for the camera....so funny.

This is actually my mom driving the fast...we made record time! Thanks Mom for getting us to Vegas in amazing time!

Carter and JuJu having fun in the back seat watching Cars....Brax was so good in the car as long as that movie was on. So we watched it like 5 times. So funny!

Overall, this was the BEST roadtrip I've ever been on! My mom, sister and I make a great team while the boys did so well it was amazing!

Halloween 2011...

Halloween is such a fun holiday! I love getting the boys costumes, seeing all of the other kids dressed up, and my favorite part...the candy! I'm a huge candy person (though that's not something to be proud of) and candy corn is one of my favs.

This year, like last year, my mom, dad, sister and I took the boys out trick or treating. There's this awesome house that puts on a full show across the street.

My little skeleton is so cute!

And my precious monkey was a hit!

I had fun going to a few houses with them, and then coming home and relaxing.

Carter's been sick and not sleeping well...which means I don't get much sleep either. Mixing that with working non-stop has really made me miss my "me" time lately. One day soon though I know it will all come together for me, people don't work as hard as I do and get nothing in return.

Carter Turns 5....

My sweet Carter turned 5 this month! Carter has truly been an inspiration in my life, he's the one that changed my life and I haven't looked back since.

He's accomplished so much in his few short years, and has so much to be proud of. I absolutely love this kid!

I have been working a ton of hours lately, so my sister surprised me by getting a Disney themed cake and balloons for us to have when we all got home.

Carter could not have been more thrilled. He knew that for his birthday I was taking him to Disneyland...so this themed event was just what we needed to really get excited.

I just love this boy.....and can't wait to take him to the happiest place on earth!
