Lincoln's Baby Shower....
Our little Lincoln is so well loved by everyone! I was able to have a second baby shower because this is Jake's first son....and I'm so grateful because we literally have no baby items at all.
I made the burlap banner with cute little bow ties for our "Little Man" theme.
My mom and sister made the cutest diaper cake ever! I loved this so much...it's still up in his room for decoration.
We had people write notes on diapers...just for fun.
Jane made the cutest wreath for him.
My cute sister in law made the labels that match the invitation. These were bow tie thank yous for everyone that came.
My other cute sister in law decorated all of these cute bow tie cookies. We actually used dog bone shaped cookie cutters....but they turned out so cute.
We got a ton of clothes, blankets and handmade gifts for the little guy. Now it's time to organize and get ready for him to arrive.
Color Run...
This year Carter's school had a Color Run 5k for the kids and parents to participate in. Of course we were all about it!
I've never been able to participate in events like this because I was always working, so this year it's my goal to do everything I can with the boys' schools.
The boys had a blast and were so excited to pass each "check point" and get more color. My sister came with us too...she's been really involved too because she's leaving us soon for the Air Force.
Jake was able to make it almost at the first leg, he came straight from work and even ran the 5k in his UPS shorts.
Carter said he had a blast and Braxton did the whole thing too. I wasn't sure if we were all going make it (my big belly included) but we did. It was so much fun.

Oh Carter....
Carter is so my kid....this child is so much like me it's not even funny. I have been noticing this more and more as he gets older. He has my passion for learning, my mannerisms and even my stubborn attitude.
This glasses-wearing 7 year old is one of my favorite dudes to be with. I love how sensitive he is and caring. He is such a great big brother, I'm really glad I had him first.
Our Uncle Jimmy is now gone and is in training to become an officer in the Air Force. These boys have adored how involved my bestie has been in their lives. When I got divorced, Jimmy was the one that came over to my mom's house almost every day and made sure we were all doing okay.
Lots of fun things have been going on....I'm trying to catch up with all of them.
Oh Braxton....
What can I say about this little boy of ours. He is absolutely so much fun to hang out with. Now that I'm home, it's been really nice to spend some quality time with the little dude. (I was never able to do that because I went back to work when he was so tiny)
He is such a kind hearted little guy, he kisses my belly daily and talks to baby Lincoln all of the time. It's super sweet to watch.
He's also a huge stinker! This kid keeps me on my toes for sure. I never know what he's going to come up with next.
When we pick up Carter from school, he climbs in front and messes with the radio. He thinks he's so cool.
He was such an amazing sport during Carter's football games. He would sit and play on the grass the whole time.
I love this little guy so much. Watching him walk to preschool (just form the car) brings a tear to my eye because I miss him so much when he's gone. I'm so glad I get the time I do with him now, because I missed out on so much of his first three years of life.
Love, love love this boy!
Salt Lake City's First Ever Comic Con....
I can't be certain....but I think Jake and the boys were beyond excited for the Comic Con this year. The line to get in was ridiculous.....but we were able to make it in within about 30 minutes (some people waited hours)
Seeing Master Chief was thrilling for all three of them! Oh how video games are not my thing....but the boys really get into it and Jake has fun bonding over their "boy" time together.
I was actually super excited to see Lou Ferrigno....He's absolutely amazing in what he has accomplished even being deaf.
Meeting Ray Park in person was great! GI Joe and Snake Eyes are two very compelling parts to play...and I have to admit, he was super nice and humble. He talked with the boys for a good 10 minutes and took plenty of pictures with us. We have a signed picture of him that is going to be hung in the boys' room.
These are "real" SLC Ghost Busters.....super funny!
Carter's face cracks me up!
There were so many people at the Salt Palace...they even had to stop letting people in because they had met fire code. It's supposed to come again for 2014.....if it does....I'm sure Jake already has the tickets bought.
